The El-Ganzouri Risk Index (EGRI) is a multivariable preoperative tool to estimate risk of difficult laryngoscopic intubation. In the original study, the index improved prediction of difficult laryngoscopic visualization (Grade IV) compared with single-parameter bedside tests.
